Morphometry of the Crania and the Cranial Capacity in Dry Human Skull Bones- A Descriptive Analytical Study

Introduction: The crania constitute the skull bones that are held together by sutures which determines brain size and an individual's mental ability. present study would help forensic anthropologist differentiate sex predict development measuring cranial capacity of unknown skull. Aim: To determine morphometry endocranial in dry human bones. Materials Methods: This descriptive analytical included 100 adult male female bones, procured from Department Anatomy, AMC&H (Annapoorana Medical College & Hospitals), Salem, Tamil Nadu, India, July 2021 to December 2021.The linear parameters like length, breadth were measured using a Spreading caliper, height was anthropometric rod. volume direct calculated methods. Using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 25.0, data obtained analysed statistical analysis done. significance skulls compared unpaired student ‘t’ test Pearson’s correlation test.
